Underserved communities around the world deserve clean water and together we can make it happen

The Water Project and Dry Season
Community Farming program

In 2024 we started working with a community in Kandema and Sandema located in the Upper East Region of Ghana. This region is extremely poor due to lack of resources and an extended dry season lasting over 7 months. Clean water is hard to come by making it difficult for the community which is predominantly sustenance farmers. We will be drilling bore holes that will provide clean drinking water for dry-season farming. Some of our future plans are to improve their local community health center by providing equipment, solar power, and stipends for resident nurses and medical house officers.
